Remembrance Day
This week we have been learning about Remembrance Day. We learned about the soldiers who died fighting for their countries.
We went to a special assembly with Mr Curry and held 2 minutes silence.
After that, we created poppy pictures using loose parts.
In phonics, we have been looking at the sounds v, w, x and y.
In maths, we have been learning how to subitise to 4.
In RE, we have been learning about the season of Advent and what 'waiting' means. We know that the Church uses the colour purple for waiting.
