World Mental Health Day 2024

Black History Month. We have been reading Eco Girl, a book by Ken Wilson-Max. It was inspired by Wangari Maathai, an African woman who started the Green Belt Movement in Kenya in 1977. She planted a wide strip of woodland to protect, support and improve our world. As a class, we planted our own tree in our Jubilee Garden to help improve our world and care for God's creation.

Today, we learnt about the Ascension. This is when Jesus went to Heaven to be with his father, God. This happened 40 days after Easter Sunday.
