Bethlehem
This week we have been learning about the journey that Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem. We know it was a long way and took them many days to travel. We learnt that Mary had to travel on a donkey because cars had not been invented. We thought about how Mary and Joseph might have felt and drew maps of their journey.
In phonics, we have learnt the sounds z, ch and qu. We know that 2 letters which make one sound are called digraphs.
In maths, we have been thinking about whole numbers and parts which make them up, for example, 3 is the whole number and the parts are 1 and 2.
